Let’s explore some of the key yoga postures that we traditionally do on a yoga mat, and move into these as we work with or in a chair. Feel the different sensations standing and seated, and then move into a slow flow utilizing these asanas.

 

Bio:

Karen is a certified yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. She spent several years teaching yoga for the St. John Providence Health System, and specializes in a gentle style of yoga on the mat, and chair yoga for those who are either limited in mobility, reluctant to get onto a mat, or are recovering from an injury or illness. Karen has been teaching daily yoga classes in the

Birmingham Bloomfield area for over 10 years, and has been a member of YAGD for the past 7 years
