YAGD Retreat 2022

Please join us for this annual event, scheduled once again at the gorgeous Lake Huron Retreat Center, located about 15 miles north of Port Huron.

The weekend will include seven yoga classes, the opportunity to walk on the beach, rest, read, etc. As always, all retreat activities are optional, so especially plan to relax.

At the October Retreat, Ruth Bennet will moderate a discussion of No-Nonsense Buddhism for Beginners by Noah Rasheta. This short book is written in Q and A format.

The weekend includes 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) and 4 meals (3 on Saturday plus Sunday breakfast). YAGD subsidies the fees for active members (those who attended at least 3 meetings or events last year) whose dues have been paid. Rooms will be assigned by random drawing from reservation forms and deposits received by March 31st. There will be two groups for the drawing. The first group will consist of members who participate in the March business meeting (and their member or non-member roommates) as well as retreat volunteer instructors. The second group will be members who were not able to attend the March meeting or have not volunteered to teach.

The center will accommodate special dietary needs requested in advance (see below).
