| Hi Namaste Yoga Royal Oak Family, After 24+ years at 309 Troy Street, Namaste Yoga will have a new Royal Oak address July 1. This decision did not come lightly nor quickly, in the past two years we have all been encouraged to discard things that no longer serve us and nurture the parts that make us stronger. Moving locations is a product of that process. Among our considerations included a significant rent increase in July 2021, ongoing maintenance issues in the studio, downtown Royal Oak construction and parking challenges, and the emerging street closings that have started since Centennial Park was built. In addition to these issues we have no control over, we are excited to be able to grow to meet the needs of those who find Namaste. Our Hatha focus creates a welcoming and accessible environment to all who enter our doors. The new studio space will allow for an expansion of Yoga Therapy offerings, Reiki, workshops, meditation, and events as we have space that is not dedicated to just studio classes. We are also committed to keeping the sense of comfort many of you have found in the warm glow of the studio space throughout the years. Many of your questions might be answered here, and we want to make sure that this move happens with as little disruption as possible. This page will be updated regularly on our website.
