Yoga Down River

I recieved a email about available space below:

Hello, I was inquiring if there were any instructors who might need space for their classes / practice in the downriver area? I have an indoor facility that would be great for a yoga class. We have 14000 sq ft.

Thank you

Update from Studio Member Chela Yoga

Chela Yoga LLC was established in 2011 as a RYS200 yoga school. Like many the Covid pandemic had a big impact on the brick and mortar space, causing Chela to close its physical doors in July of 2020. Chela took to zoom to bring Yoga into the homes and offices of its students where they were able to offer 10 plus classes weekly online over the last 18 months. Marlo Ziegler ERYT500, Owner of Chela Yoga, has been teaching traditional Yoga since 2003.

With her vast knowledge of different styles of Yoga and healing modalities, she is excited to announce that this September 2021 Chela Yoga LLC will reopen its physical doors in a new location just a mile from its previous home. New location is 72 N. Williams Lk Rd, Waterford 48327. Chela will offer a hybrid of online/in-person classes specializing in a variety of styles from your fast passed more physical styles like Hatha, Vinyasa to slower based therapeutic yoga styles such as yoga for chronic pain, recovery, aging bodies, beginners basics, introduction to props, yin, restorative, mindfulness and  meditation.

Chela will also be offering a hybrid online/in-person Yoga Alliance accredited RYT200 Yoga Teacher Training starting this Sept. This is a 15 week course that dives deeply into the philosophy of yoga starting with the Yamas and Niyamas.

We had a great time doing some yoga, eating and renewing our friendships ! A round robin asana practice in my yard was so fun.
